Women’s Boxing Series Launch

Over the past decade, Australia has witnessed a remarkable surge in women’s involvement in sports.
In partnership with Boxing ACT, we are excited to announce a Women's Amateur Boxing event scheduled for 30/05/2026 at the AIS Combat Centre in Canberra.
This event marks a significant milestone in promoting female participation in boxing.
The event is the inaugural competition in a three-tournament series, which will culminate in a Grand Final.
Held annually, the series is open to female boxers from under 13s right through to Masters categories across Australia being the first "Women's only" pathways competition" under the rules of Boxing Australia and World Boxing.
We also extend an invitation to boxers from New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, fostering greater regional diversity and opportunity.
This initiative creates a dedicated pathway for women in amateur boxing, with the competition organized and run by women, for women.
