Nominations

·         Discuss your nomination with your coach before submitting.

·         Include your coach’s contact details and ask them to nominate online under the “coach” category.

·         Nominate for the weight division you intend to compete in and ensure your gender is entered correctly.

·         Catchweights will not be used.

·         Boxers will not be offered an alternative match if their coach refuses a match that meets Boxing Australia’s age, experience and weight criteria.

Draw

The draw will be available here once it is finalised

Clearances

·         Interstate boxers and coaches must request clearance from their State/Territory Member Association.

·         Clearances should be completed as soon as possible and no later than 5 days before the tournament.

·         Boxing ACT members must upload a photo of the medical page of their book and blood test results for HIV and Hepatitis.

·         Adult boxer blood tests must be dated within 6 months of the tournament.

·         Update your profile via the website login, or use “Forgot login details” if needed.

Event Requirements

Proposed event timings and key requirements are below.

• 8:00am - 9:00am Weigh in and medical check for boxers
• 10:30am Technical Brief to Coaches
• 11:00am - 6:00pm Competition

·         Bring your Blue Book and current serology results to weigh-in.

·         Medical checks must be current within 12 months.

·         Serology must be within 6 months for boxers over 18, or 12 months for boxers under 18.

·         Boxers have one official weigh-in attempt; test scales will be available.

·         Coaches must attend the 10:30am Technical Brief

·         Competition attire must match the red or blue corner shown on the draw.

·         Hand wraps must be cotton only, and drink bottles must be clear and contain water only.

·         All boxers must be cornered by a currently accredited Boxing Australia coach with full Competition membership.

Spectating 

·         Tickets are available at the door by card/Paywave only; no cash.

·         A live stream will be available through the Boxing ACT Facebook page.

·         No alcohol may be purchased or brought into the venue.

·         Spectators must remain seated unless moving between the entrance, exit and amenities.

Parking / Access

Parking is available in the carpark adjacent to the PCYC and in the Erindale Centre shops carpark.
