Event information
The Bronze Coach course is presented by Boxing Australia's Coach Facilitators who will deliver a standardised course curriculum that has been approved by Boxing Australia and the Australian Sports Commission.
NOTE – Boxing ACT has yet to determine a date for the next Bronze Coach. Please use this form to register if you are interested in attending a course on a weekend between July and September 2026.
Registered individuals will be contacted once a date has been confirmed.
Please note that there are several pre-requisites that must be completed to attend the course and these may take some time to complete. If you are interested in attending an upcoming course please complete the following pre-requisites as soon as possible:
- download and read the Bronze Level Coaches Manual: http://cdn.revolutionise.com.au/cups/boxing/files/qxpguvjt2cgkasw6.pdf
- obtain a current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid) from a Registered Training Organisation
- obtain a current Working With Vulnerable People Card (or equivalent from another State or Territory)
- Complete the following online course via the Australian Sports Commission's Australian Sport Learning Centre and retain certificate as evidence: https://www.ausport.gov.au/coaching/community/education/community-coaching-essential-skills
- Community Coaching Essential Skills Cert - Australian Sports Commission Learning Centre
- Complete the following online course via Sports Integrity Australia's eLearning Centre and retain certificates as evidence: https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/user_login
- Anti-Doping Fundamentals (only complete this if you have not completed it prior)
- Annual Update
- Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Induction
You need to be a member of Boxing ACT or your local state association. You can join as a non-competitive member and then upgrade to coach when you gain your accreditation. Registration - Boxing ACT
