Event Instructions
Nominations
- Discuss your nomination with your coach and include their contact details.
- Coaches must submit nominations via the Coaches Nomination Page.
- Nominate for your intended weight division and ensure your gender is entered correctly. Junior categories are available for athletes under 17 in 2026.
Draw

- Interstate boxers and coaches must obtain clearance from their State/Territory Member Association at least five days before the tournament.
- Boxing ACT members must upload a photo of their medical book’s relevant page and recent blood test results (HIV and Hepatitis) to their profile. Elite boxers’ blood tests must be within six months of the tournament.
Sequence of Events
- 8:00–9:00am: Weigh-in and medical check
- 11:00am–4:00pm: Competition
Weigh-in and Medical Check
- Bring your Blue Book and proof of recent serology results.
- Medicals must be within 12 months; serology within 6 months for boxers over 18, or 12 months for those under 18.
- Only one official weigh-in attempt is permitted; test scales are available.
- Boxers and coaches must leave the venue after weigh-in and medical check.
- Coaches of boxers under 18 must present a Working With Vulnerable People card or equivalent.
Session Information
- Wear blue or red singlet and shorts as indicated in the draw.
- Only cotton bandages are permitted for hand wraps.
- Drink bottles must be clear and contain only water.
- Warm-up areas are available; first three bouts may enter 30 minutes before session start.
Coaches/Corner Staff
- Coaches must hold current Boxing Australia accreditation (Bronze or higher) and full competition membership.
- Only accredited coaches accredited coaches can mount the apron or enter the ring
Spectating
- Tickets available at the door (card/Paywave only): $35 per adult (16+), $10 per child (5–15), infants under 5 free.
- Canteen open 11am–5pm. No alcohol permitted.
- Spectators must remain seated except when moving between entrances/exits and amenities.
Parking / Access
- Parking is available off Leverrier St, Bruce. The Combat Centre is building 14; look for the building number.
