Saturday, 9 August marks Boxing ACT’s second Female Development Camp for 2025. The camp is intended for women at beginner to intermediate skill levels who seek to build their boxing abilities in a structured environment under professional supervision.

This camp aims to introduce and develop fundamental boxing skills, including both individual and partner-based techniques. Participants will train under experienced coaches in an environment designed to support skill development.

Participants must be members of Boxing ACT or an affiliated member association. Required equipment includes gloves, mouthguard, headgear, and water.

Key Features:

·         Basic Skills Development: Instruction covers essential boxing techniques such as punching, footwork, offensive and defensive movements, and stance. Training includes bag work, shadow boxing, and conditioning exercises.

·         Partner Work: The camp involves partner drills and may include controlled body sparring to practice timing, distance, and reaction skills in a supervised setting.

·         Experienced Coaching: Coaches provide guidance on boxing techniques and strategies.

·         Community and Networking: The camp offers opportunities for social interaction among participants.
