Fighting back against the AMA propaganda The association recently released a press statement attacking the Australian Medical Association’s anti-boxing campaign. The text of the statement is available on our website, http://actboxing.cjb.net A number of members of ACT Boxing have been interviewed on radio, local TV, SKY and in the newspapers on the issue. We will continue to oppose the AMA’s attempts to take away your right to choose which sport you are involved in. You can help with this - write a short letter (one line is enough!) or make a phone call, insisting that your right to choose your sport be respected by our local parliamentarians. Let ACT Health Minister Michael Moore know that his proposed ban on boxing is not acceptable to you. Let Sports Minister Bill Stefaniak know that you want him to oppose Michael Moore’s plan.
